Thank you for using the Site and/or Services of Campaign Deputy. (“Campaign Deputy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains the ways in which we collect, use, disclose, and protect information relating to our Site and Services.
This Privacy Policy may be amended at any time, with or without notice or notification, so we recommend periodically reviewing it. Continued use of the Site or Services following the posting of any change to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of all changes. We suggest printing or saving a local copy of this Privacy Policy for your records.
Information We Collect Directly from You
Account Information: When you sign up for a Campaign Deputy Account, provide us with a list of data to import and we store that information. Collected information is data has been entered in a form, or through an intergration or obtained via cookies or by other means; stored information is collected information that has been subsequently deposited into our databases after collection
Billing Information: When your Account includes a Subscription, we collect, but do not store, your credit card number. We do collect and store your billing address. Full credit card numbers are never visible to Campaign Deputy employees or contractors, and we will not modify your credit card number or billing address under any circumstances. You agree that our Third Party payment processors may collect and store your billing address and credit card information on our behalf. We are not responsible or liable for the ways in which Third Parties collect, store, or process your Personal Information or Sensitive Information, or other details about you.
Log Data: When you use the Services, our servers may automatically collect and store information, including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. This log data may include, but is not limited to, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the address of the web page you visited before using the Services, the operating system you are using, the date and time of your accessing the Services, geolocation information, type of device, cookie data, and browser signatures.
- IP Addresses: We will log the IP address of any visitor to a webpage you create and publish using the Services in order to calculate traffic usage per Account and conversion rates per variant, investigate spam allegations and discrepancies in page statistics, as well as to ensure the security of the webpage, Services, and related data. Campaign Deputy never uses the IP address or other Personal Information of visitors to your pages to conduct marketing activities or promote Campaign Deputy.
- Cookies and Log Files: The ways we use cookies include, but are not limited to: tracking which webpage a visitor has seen, monitoring traffic patterns, and gauging the popularity of service options. Cookies also allow us to ensure that visitors see the webpage they expect to see if they return to the same website URL, and to calculate total visits and views per webpage, variant, Account, and client sub-account
Use of the Site and Services signifies consent to Campaign Deputy’s use of cookies, including and without limitation Third Party cookies that Campaign Deputy may choose to use for analytics or other purposes. You agree that should you disable cookies on your browser, certain aspects of the Services may be unavailable to you, and that Campaign Deputy is not responsible for any adverse effects arising from your browser or other computer or mobile settings.
You agree that you are responsible for adhering to all laws, policies, and other regulations in your relevant jurisdiction(s), including but not limited to all laws requiring that cookie use must be disclosed. Campaign Deputy disclaims all liability in this area.
By maintaining an Account with us, you voluntarily consent to the collection, storage, use, and disclosure of Personal Information as specified in this Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, we may on occasion ask you to consent when we collect, store, use, or disclose your Personal Information in specific circumstances. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, Trial Programs, Beta Tests, research and development, and other changes, updates, or additions to the Services. Sometimes your consent will be implied through your conduct with us if the purpose of the collection, storage, use, or disclosure is obvious and you voluntarily provide the information. We do not knowingly or intentionally provide the Services to, and will not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of consent.
Web Hosting: You have the option of adding a hosting service to your account. When using Campaign Deputy to host your website, we will collect and store certain data from your hosting environment. This data includes, but is not limited to: WordPress version number, the names of other WordPress plugins installed on your domain, IP addresses used to access the hosting environment, cookies, and user agent strings.
We are collecting this information in order to better support the hosting. Among other things, we will collect and store this data in order to inform our decisions on minimum configuration and testing requirements, and to improve the stability of our hosting environment.
You hereby consent to the collection and storage of this information in your use of the hosting environment. If you do not consent to the collection and storage of this information, you may not use the hosting environment.
How We May Use Information We Collect from You
We may use the information we collect from you to provide the Services to you and to understand, improve, and enhance the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to conduct research, analyze trends, monitor traffic usage, and examine the ways in which our users engage with the Services.
We may use your Personal Information to respond to your questions or comments, including support-related and billing inquiries. We also use your Account data to administer your Account and keep track of billing and payments, invoicing, and Account management.
Signing up for an Account with Campaign Deputy constitutes implied consent to receive electronic marketing communication from us regarding our products, services, news, and events. You have the option not to receive this information. We provide an opt-out function within all electronic marketing communications, or will cease to communicate with you for this purpose if you email us at unsubscribe@campaigndeputy.com and tell us not to communicate this information to you.
We may contact you to notify you about changes to the Services, and other important Service related notices, including but not limited to security and fraud notices, Service suspensions, and outages. These emails and messages are considered essential, non-marketing communications, and you may not opt-out of them.
We work hard to keep the Services secure and to prevent abuse and fraud. We may use your Personal Information as necessary to respond to security incidents, claims of any violation of our rights or those of any Third Parties, to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of you, us, our Customers, and the public, and as required or authorized by law.
How We May Disclose Information We Collect from You
Campaign Deputy will only share your information with Third Parties in accordance with your instructions or as necessary to provide you with a specific service (for example, our Third Party payment processors, and our email service provider(s)) or otherwise in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. As a general rule, unless permitted in this Privacy Policy, we do not and will not sell, rent, share, or disclose your Personal Information without first receiving your permission.
This policy is not intended to place any limits on what we may do with data that is aggregated and/or anonymized so it is no longer associated with an identifiable Customer or user of the Services (“Aggregated Data”). We may use your Personal Information to generate Aggregated Data for internal use and for sharing with others on a selective basis.
Campaign Deputy reserves the right to transfer your data, between data centers in the United States. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Services complies with all data transfer, processing, privacy, and other laws and regulations within your local jurisdiction.
Your Rights
You have the right to access and edit your Account and Profile Information by logging into the Services and choosing to edit your Profile. You are able view your data, and download a CSV file of your contributions for any date range.
You may request that your Account, including all leads, be deleted from our servers by contacting Customer Support by emailing support@campaigndeputy.com and requesting deletion. This will “soft-delete” your Account. Soft-deletion retains your Account data in our database but flags it as deleted, preventing any further access, including the ability to log in or access pages or lead data. Soft-deleted Accounts may be restored upon request.

The Site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy and terms of use of any linked websites, as their policies and practices may differ from our own.
Change of Ownership or Business Transition
In the event of a change of ownership or other business transition, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, your Account, including all Personal Information stored therein, may be transferred in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Security
We will strive to prevent unauthorized access to your Personal Information, however, no data transmission over the Internet, by wireless device or over the air is guaranteed to be 100% secure. We will continue to enhance security procedures as new technologies and procedures become available.
We strongly recommend that you choose a strong password, and that you do not disclose your password to anyone. If you forget your password, we will ask you for your email address and send you an email with instructions for resetting your password. At no time is an Campaign Deputy employee, or contractor, able to view your password.
Please remember that you control what Personal Information you provide while using the Site and Services. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your identification, passwords and/or any Personal Information in your possession for the use of the Site and/or Services. Always be careful and responsible regarding your Personal Information. We are not responsible for, and cannot control, the use by others of any information which you provide to them and you should use caution in selecting the Personal Information you provide to others through the Site or Services. Similarly, we cannot assume any responsibility for the content of any Personal Information or other information which you receive from other users through the Site or Services, and you release us from any and all liability in connection with the contents of any Personal Information or other information which you may receive using the Site or Services. We cannot guarantee, or assume any responsibility for verifying, the accuracy of the Personal Information or other information provided by any third party. You release us from any and all liability in connection with the use of such Personal Information or other information of others.
